OUR FAVORITE BASIC FISH RECIPE

This recipe will work for almost all fish fillets. It is the best of baking and broiling.
I like a heavier baking pan with this recipe.

NOW TO THE KITCHEN…

Ingredients

Fresh fish fillets, from sole to salmon to chilean bass.
Salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Or any marinade of choice. We carry a variety of our own fresh made marinades which we recommend!

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Preheat the pan also.
Marinate the fish for about 1/2 hour or simply season to taste. Thin fillets of fish, such as sole, can be rolled up to make them thicker and moister.Bake fish for about 10 minutes. Turn your oven to broil. Cook the fish under the broiler for another 2 to 4 minutes, depending on thickness Most of our fish is sushi quality, so if it's a little rare that's O.K. If you would like it to cook a little more just leave the fish on the hot pan for 2 or 3 more minutes. Out of the oven, on the counter.
Just remember, fish overcooks very easily, so less is better than more.
